Our aim is to have a broad selection of pens that can be used for art, graphic, technical and craft work. Our stock changes quite regularly as we find new and interesting products, but we always have a choice of top quality technical pens, fine liners, brush pens, permanent and non-permanent markers, calligraphy pens, paint markers ,felt tips and gel pens (plain, metallic and glitter). With a few exceptions, we like you to try out our products to make sure you find the best pen for your needs.
Rotring Isographs & Rapidographs and Faber Castell TGI-S are professional quality pens. Their fine metal tips give a precise, clean ,consistent line. They are used with highly pigmented, opaque, waterproof and light proof inks.
There are 8 nib sizes from 0.10mm to 0.50mm. Nib units can be bought separately.
Faber-Castell TGI-S - Each pen can be used with either cartridges or a refillable reservoir. There are 16 nib sizes from 0.10mm to 2.00mm, which can be bought separately.Not all sizes are kept in stock.
Graphic Marker Pens
Zig Kurecolor pens, used by graphic designers and professional artists. Double ended pens have a range of 106 colours. The ink produces a flat colour with no lines.
Sketching and Drawing Pens
Fine Liners - The following pens are non-refillable with water-based, waterproof, light-fast, pigment ink. They are great for all sorts of art and graphic work such as detailed pen and ink drawings, line and wash and for drawing up plans. They are an excellent, economical alternative to the technical pens when such a high degree of precision is not required .

Kuretake Artists' Sketch Pen - Medium-fine fibre tip with alcohol based, permanent ink. For virtually all surfaces including acetate and glass.
Rotring Art Pen - A very popular fountain pen (comes with cartridges but can be fitted with an adaptor for bottled ink) with a variety of nib styles.
Sketching - extra fine and fine
Lettering - medium and broad
Calligraphy - 1.1, 1.5, 1.9 and 2.3mm
Mapping and Drawing Dip Pens - These can give you an incredibly fine, delicate line. Slight inconsistencies in the ink-flow will effect the quality of the line which results in a particularly lively and expressive feel to your work.
These are great for art, graphic and craft work. The nylon fibre tip is tapered and flexible just like a paint brush. A whole range of stroke widths and styles can be achieved. They are extremely versatile in their application but are particularly useful to just tuck into a pocket for working outdoors or on holiday.
Kuretake Art and Graphic Twin - One end is a brush whilst the other is a fine point. Free-flowing ink in a range of 79 colours. A water colour effect can be achieved by using a blender pen.
Faber- Castell Artist Brush Pens - A smaller, neater brush to the Art and Graphic Twin. 48 colours to choose from plus a range of assorted packs.
We have a range of dip pens, fountain pens and felt tips to suite all types of work from precious documents to quick, throw away posters.
Dip Pens - Using a dip pen and a bottle of ink or Chinese ink stick is the traditional method used by calligraphers. Different width nibs and different types and colours of ink will give you an endless and beautiful variety of results. Practice will be rewarded! We stock a selection of handles, reservoirs and nibs.
Fountain Pens for Calligraphy
Manuscript Calligraphy Sets - these are economical, easy to use and extremely popular. We have a range of sets from Starter to Deluxe.Each set contains a selection of nibs, cartridges, an adaptor for use with bottled ink and an instructions leaflet.
Rotring Art Pens - come with cartridges but can be fitted with an adapter. Nib sizes 1.1, 1.5, 1.9 and 2.3. Also available with Sketching and Lettering nibs.
Felt Tips for Calligraphy - these are economical and very easy to use. They are great for posters, signs, invitations, everyday writing etc.
Edding Calligraphy Pen - Nib sizes 2mm, 3.5mm, and 5mm. They are not light fast.
Kuretake Twin Ended Pen - 2mm and 3.5mm in one pen. Water based, water proof, light fast, non-bleeding pigment ink.
Permanent and Non-Permanent Markers
Paint Markers - these have an opaque laquer finish and can be used on virtually all surfaces including metal, glass and plastic. The valve controlled ink-flow takes a bit of getting used to but it is worth it for the intense colour and opacity of the ink. Metallic gold, silver, bronze and white. 3 nib sizes.
OHP Markers - Permanent or wipable for acetate and other non-porous surfaces.
Permanent Markers - For use on virtually all non-porous surfaces. Chisel or bullet tip. Line width up to 12mm. Light fast, water proof, water based ink.
White Board Markers - Dry-wipable from virtually all non-porous surfaces. Chisel or bullet tip.
Posterman - Versatile, highly opaque, suitable for most surfaces including paper, glass, metal, wood and chalk boards. Great for posters and signs.
Posterman Permanent - Water based, water proof. Can be easily cleaned from non-porous surfaces with specialist cleaner.
Posterman Wet-Wipe - Water based ink. Remove from non-porous surfaces with a damp cloth.

Glaze Pens - Can be used on all smooth surfaces such as plastic, metal, glass, card and paper. The unique ink gives a 3D, bright and glossy finish. Very effective for all manner of craft purposes.
We have a good range of economical but good quality basic felt tip pens. Lots of colours to choose from.
Many of our pens can be used for everyday writing in addition to their specialist purpose. However, we also stock a range of straight forward gel, roller ball and ball point pens.
